Stop, Pop and Roll With It!
Black American musical performers are constantly introducing new dance moves. We'll take a step back into history and reflect on Black Americans who have contributed to and revolutionized dancing, including moves from the great James Brown, the Moonwalk by Michael Jackson, hip-hop moves from Ginuwine and Usher, 'Lean Wit It Rock Wit It' by Dem Franchize Boyz and others in this dynamic and kinesthetic program. If you think you have a move, then come show us as we discuss the importance of coordination and aerobic exercise, and examine the different body parts and muscles that help you bust a move!
Did you miss out on the Black History Month programs?
Here's your chance to participate! Invent a freestyle rhyme, step to the beat, or pop-lock as we look back at the month's special programs highlighting Black Influence in Music & Dance.
